Vinod Dham

Vinod was the leader of Intel's Pentium team in the early 1990s and justifiably earned the sobriquet of "Father of the Pentium" .

Subsequent to the unquestionable success of the Pentium processor line at Intel, Vinod was recruited to guide NexGen, a start up company engaged in development of an Intel Pentium compatible processor. He was responsible for the delivery of the first Pentium processor compatible product from NexGen.

In 1995 Advanced Micro Devices acquired NexGen for about US $500M. Three years later, AMD's vastly popular K6 chip, based on the NexGen technology, seriously challenged Intel's dominance of the PC microprocessor market. These two achievements made Dham a star at a global level.

Later, Vinod was the CEO of Silicon Spice, a Mountain View, California startup focusing VOIP processors. Silicon Spice was acquired by Broadcom for $1.2 billion.

Vinod is a Co-founder and Managing Member of New Path Ventures LLC.

Tushar founded Armedia, Inc. in February 1997 with a vision to establish Armedia as a leading provider of Digital TV solutions. Armedia was structured with the US location containing the core marketing, architecture and customer support groups. These groups were then supported by a world-class engineering team in India. Broadcom acquired Armedia in a trend setting historic price of over $100M. A first for that time, making many Indian employees a millionaire.
