Embedded Software Engineer

Description of Job Duties:

Customer support, Embedded software development, System-level debugging

Specific Responsibilities:

• Assist customers to bring up their boards, be present during mass production to resolve problems that may arise, help customers identify problems and solve them, development of user interfaces as well as other application that are specific to a particular customer.
• It is expected that candidates will be spending significant and extended amount of time on customer facilities to resolve their problems.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Education
• BS or MS in Software and/or Electrical Engineering
• Experience 
• 3+ years of experience in embedded programming, knowledge of systems
• Mandatory Skills
• Embedded C/C++
• Ability to read and understand schematics
• Ability to work with boards
• Preferred Skills
• Knowledge of Video/Imaging/Audio applications
• Multimedia steaming applications and protocols
• Networking applications

Systems Engineer
Job code: JC/CH/SE

Description of Job Duties:

Customer support, LCD Market, BOM analysis

Specific Responsibilities:

• Assist customers to bring up their boards, be present during mass production to resolve problems that may arise, help customers identify problems and solve them.
• LCD panel market followup, establishment of relationships with LCD makers, monitoring LCD market and interfaces, provide factory with upcoming LCD panels and standards.
• Analysis and optimization of BOM to reduce cost, identification of reliable and cost-effective suppliers, provide feedback to factory on component selection. Shematic capture and PCB layout.
• It is expected that candidates will be spending significant and extended amount of time on customer facilities to resolve their problems.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Education
• BS or MS in Electrical Engineering
• Experience
• 5+ years of systems design, experience in embedded programming
• Mandatory Skills
• Extremely good knowledge of components
• Systems design (schematic capture and PCB layout)
• Embedded C/C++
